So lately, I've really been into this awesome punk-ish band from Brooklyn called Sleepies which consists of 3 (three) midget slaves that do not work for Sleepy's (the mattress professionals doing it right). Anyway, ever since I've come across their myspace, I've been pretty excited for them and now they're working on an LP that I feel will be awesome (I've felt many things before, I think I discovered Tupac before any pitchfork forcast even mentioned him). Anyway, Sleepies played Tommy's Tavern last night which I've been anticipating for quite some time and they were so good. The song from the first video is fucking amazing. Look out for their LP that should be released sometime during 2010 and if any one is smart (cough beast reality or reality beast cough) it will be released on their newfound label. Bingo. Anyway, there's an awesome show that they're playing at Dead Herring and Sweet Bulbs are playing, too, and they put on a good fucking show. Sleepies, aaf. GO TO DEAD HERRING IN FEBRUARY, YOU FOOL. Sorry, I can't suppress my undeniable excitement for Sleepies. Shit, I fucking love mattresses.
