ANYWAY one of the first bands I've ever had to listen to as a music director was a sweet band that's hiding in Michigan called the Decks. They're fucking awesome and their (I'm assuming) debut LP, "Breathe And Bone," was so good and super catchy. This is album is by far the most underrated LP of 2009. What do you know about my generation? Absolutely nothing, especially if you haven't heard the track, "My Generation," off of Andy Clockwise's EP that was released in early 2009. It's catchy and kind of humorous. I had this jam stuck in my head for the longest time. The rest of his EP doesn't sound anything like this, although there were other solid tracks: Andy Clockwise - My Generation
So Jail, now Jaill, is a sweet band from Milwaukee who just recently signed onto Sub Pop Records. They released a 12" LP this year called "There's No Sky (Oh my Oh My)" and it was pretty rad. The whole album is chock full of catchy jamz. Definitely look out for another LP to be released on Sub Pop in 2010! This jam is super funa and catchy as hell: Jail - Beggar Sincere
